Re: Second Amendment, Right to Bear Arms

Pay attention!  See what’s happening around the world.  Europe and third world nations long ago seized their citizens guns.  Why?  They knew one thing, an armed nation of citizens presents a threat to any ruler who might seek his own will as opposed to the will of the citizens. Problem is, kids go to college and those that are part of the liberal union still seek to pollute the minds of the youth on such principles that guns are a bad thing.  Our nation has always protected the right of its own citizens to bear arms.

Second Amendment

What does the Second Amendment say:

“"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." (United States Constitution Second Amendment).

It’s a Right Not A Privilege of the People

Justice Thomas, of the United States Supreme Court correctly noted, the right to bear arms is not a privilege of the people, it’s a right. How is that made clear? Look at the plain language, “the right. . . . shall not be infringed.” Who in the world can declare that the Constitution gave us this so called privilege when it is declared an inalienable right. It did not! It was a right from the outset. The Constitution declared, this right of the people shall not be trampled on by the government.  Wow!  That makes a lot of sense does it not.

Did you know however, previously, a liberal Supreme Court justice, John Stevens once said, it was his desire that the provision be obliterated.  So, this core right; God given, we have liberals in unison repeatedly declaring it should be taken away.

I could not recall who said it previously but later discovery lead me to Thomas Jefferson’s quote, “Sometimes the Tree of Liberty must be watered by the blood of tyrants,” (Thomas Jefferson, our Founding Father).  The concept being when government becomes rampant by self-serving leaders, action must be taken and that action lies in the hands of the people.  A clear logical inference from an inalienable right.

Even, the previous, Auto Pen, Joe Biden, declared: “No one needs a high powered rifle, you only need a shotgun.”

“You don’t have a right to have a gun.” (Joe Biden).  Yet, Joe declared amongst other things, he graduated at the top of his class.  Really?  If he had, he would have known.

Now Our Youth

Unaware of the value of this right, our youth is dumbed down by those that seek to control society through a compliant youth. Once again, socialism/communism raises its head to take over society.   They do not know where we came from. They do not know how we fought for freedom the right to bear arms, and religion. They desire to find an escape for their economic turmoil in the tears of so called others who blame society as an escape and control means.  They fail to recognize  programming by propaganda as Marx and Lennon did with the same D.E.I. principles. Our youth has been educated and they too must learn this is a right and not a privilege.  Educate your kids.

Your Rights to Bear Arms And Regulations

Because we hold such rights, it is not illegal to carry a concealed weapon. There are regulations on how we carry; where we carry; and how we must carry a weapon, Fla.Stat. 790. Chapter. Our right should never constitute a threat and are regulated for such. We do not carry onto government properties for instance and we are not allowed to draw a weapon but in limited circumstances.

Your Right Can be Taken

If convicted of a felony, you do not have a right to bear arms.  Under the event of a conviction your right to bear arms and protect your self and family can be lost.  Thus, protect it. Even an innocuous crime, to wit: criminal mischief, damaging property over $1,000. You can loose this right. Thus, be reluctant to plea. That’s why I have the reputation of fighting for people. Pleas should be your last resort.

Allegations of Crimes

I often am involved in litigation wherein someone is accused of an improper carry. Guns are in locations and the defendant may not even know of the presence of a firearm. Such allegations may arise wherein law enforcement overreaches and desires to seize a vehicle. Such claims are not always clean claims and are nefarious. The seizure relies on such claims and judges are not easily persuaded to draw a line wherein he may offend law enforcement.

Should you be accused of a drug offense; and improper display; improper carry; or any such offense, call me.  I have and continue to argue these issues in Lake, Sumter, and surrounding communities now for 39 years.  I know the cases, and arguments and would like to sit down and discuss your case.  Remember, its not  question of money when your looking at years in jail. I’m reasonable, proven, and can represent you successfully.  Give me a call and Ill discuss your case.

Sincerely,
